This web site is dedicated to the memory of Mary Alice Howell Bevilaqua who passed away on June 5, 2014 at 5:13 PM. She was a loving Mother, a caring wife, a loyal friend and an incredible inspiration to those around her. Mary Alice lived her life caring for others and working tirelessly to help veterans, animals and people who needed support. This site will allow people to reflect on her short but fulfilling life by posting stories and photos about Mary Alice while keeping her memory and inspiration alive.
There is also a place to make donations in her honor so that the causes that meant so much to her can be acknowledged by contributions in her name. Mary Alice's Legacy
Mary Alice remained committed to many causes during her time on this Earth. The Mary Alice Memorial Fund has been established to provide funding for causes that meant so much to Mary Alice including: a scholarship fund for Tanner, a scholarship fund through the United Daughters of the Confederacy, help for veterans in need, support for Patriotism Rocks (a not-for-profit organization founded by Mary Alice and John), The Humane Society, Bat Conservation and more.
Mary Alice : The Book
John is currently working on a book about Mary Alice, her life, her love and her inspiration. Current plans call for proceeds from the sale of the book to benefit the Ovarian Cancer Research Institute to help women and their spouses learn more about early detection of ovarian cancer.
